They really screwed the pooch on this one. It's pretty obvious that DWS saw herself as invincible, absolute power corrupts absolutely. Now they will get swallowed up in the aftermath.
How long before its obvious the damage done, and DWS/Hillary start furiously backpedàling trying to get the Genie back in the bottle? I say sooner than later. DWS's uncharacharistically blinky, nervous 'Statement' and Hillary's classless call for blood tell all what's really going on.

What did she do? It's what she didn't do. She didn't talk to her friend and say, hey don't worry about me, do your job the way you would if it were any other candidate instead of me, keep the playing field level and do what's best for the party.

(10,126 posts)Where was the media for that? Oh, Sanders didn't leak it ... like someone else did today
Where are the assurances the Clinton campaign seeks today for Sanders last October? Pure mindless hypocrisy.
Where is the audit Sanders should have got last October that the DNC is demanding now? More mindless double standard hypocrisy
And October wasn't the only breach of Sanders data.
You know what this sham suggests to me, on top of all the other scandals Hillary's messed up in right now, Hillary is too friggin' stupid to run America. Like the Clinton years, it would just be one thing after another after another. And for the folks that say "they're just out to get Hillary", the funny part about that claim is they're always after her for something Hillary has done. It would one big soap opera of scandals. Can't say I'd look forward to that.
And that is something I've really appreciated about no drama Obama.

(27,815 posts)The only "stunt" that has been perpetrated here was by BS's campaign.
If you have any evidence that HRC and DWS have engaged in any wrongdoing, post it.
If not, you're just whistlin' past the graveyard. In case you haven't noticed, Hillary is the front-runner in all national polls - and if you think all of her supporters are 1%er billionaires, you might want to investigate exactly how many 1%er billionaires there are in this country.
So BS's campaign gets caught with their hands in the data cookie jar - but it's HRC and DWS who are pulling a stunt? The disconnect from reality is mind-boggling.

You apparently do. So shouldn't it be you going over there and setting everyone straight on how the BS campaign unethically accessing information is all Hillary's fault?
BTW, BS fired the man he holds responsible for the wrongdoing. So if there was NO wrongdoing, why was he fired? Or is Bernie himself too devoid of ethics to stand up for an innocent employee?
You can't have it both ways. Either someone was held out as the scape-goat, or he deserved firing because he was guilty of unethical behaviour.
So which is it - or should I wait for the FaceBook poll to decide?

I find it ironic to be told that I, or any other HRC supporter, have a "cloying admiration" for our candidate - especially when BS supporters have been at it all day explaining how the Bernie campaign's breach of ethics is somehow all Hillary's fault.
That sounds like the direct result of "cloying admiration" to me.

They only became "inaccurate" when his numbers stalled.
But I'm sure that's just a coincidence.

(27,815 posts)... Hillary has a lot more "fans" now than she did then. That's because she has not only a lot of her former 2008 supporters, but also a wide swath of Obama 2008 supporters.
I know - I'm one of them. Obama Girl in '08, a Hill Girl in '16. So your premise that anything that happens now is "according to Hillary fans" needs to take into consideration that her fans "then" are only a portion of her fans "now".
Yes, HRC lost the nomination in 2008 - by a very small margin. And she lost to an extremely charismatic, vibrant, eloquent and politically-savvy Barack Obama.
And Bernie Sanders is NO Barack Obama - a glaringly obvious shortcoming that BS fans seem completely oblivious to.
Logical
(22,457 posts)NanceGreggs
(27,815 posts)... the majority of Democrats have decided that they know what a Democrat is, and they want Hillary Clinton to be their nominee.
I believe the definition of what constitutes a Democrat is up to the Party as a whole - and not the opinions of those posting on a message board.
