I was wondering if people were waiting to see whom the nominee is before displaying. I have a Bernie sign in my yard, and I've seen a few around. I saw a Ben Carson bumper sticker the other day, and a couple of Hillary (H w/ and arrow) stickers.

I am taking my Bernie magnet off the car temporarily as we head south to visit family for a few days after the first of the year. Don't want to risk running across any jerks that see us as being target practice since we don't support Trump, Cruz or Carson.

Can't speak about yard signs...I was almost completely interstate traveling. I always look for bumper stickers when I travel. Good idea about the magnet...at the least your car might get keyed or something, and isn't that sad? The hate machine works all too well.

a lot of people avoid them in general. I had the backend of my car trashed years ago with the Obama sticker I had on it. Why would I put anything on it after that?

Add in the general sense of fear people get about how over the top some react and it wouldn't surprise me if we get gunshots about it some point.
