Ouch, poor O'Malley losses support in the new CBS/NYT poll

Clinton stayed even from last month at 52, Sanders lost one going to 32 and O'Malley dropped from 5 to 2 (-3).

His total support is now within the margin of error band for the poll.

I like O'Malley, but he just never found traction.

Although I prefer Bernie, I would happily vote for MOM if he, by some miracle, was to win the nomination.

... and this was a warm-up and introductory campaign. He'll try again for the 2024 election. I don't believe that Bernie will try again.

It's really sad.

He gets/got next to no media exposure ... the only time he got press was when he struck out at HRC, Bernie and DWS.

The only room in the debate was to the left of Clinton -- she occupies all the space close to the center. When Bernie gobbled up the "left of Clinton" space, O'Malley had no foothold anywhere.

O'Malley could have competed in the same space as Bernie and by attacking him, could have loosened up diehard left wing DEMOCRATS to come to his side.

He had to generate some momentum from that first debate, just to get people to consider him.

The "all lives matter" thing didn't help either.
