“I’m glad that the Senator got a chance to dialogue with the civic and religious leaders in Baltimore during the walking tour and that people were able to see him in his element. It’s unfortunate the way folks took comments that were clearly tongue-in-cheek, but we’re still very pleased with how the day went.

Of course he doesn’t have a problem talking about ISIS or any of the pressing issues affecting the American people. He spoke about ISIS today, the day before today, and will speak about it tomorrow. Again, he is more than happy to discuss pressing issues affecting Americans, but today was about Baltimore.”

I'd say Bernie's reaction to being asked about ISIS was hardly tongue-in-cheek, but, hey, however the campaign wants to try and frame the kerfuffle is fine.

If people want candor and humanity in politics, this "kerfuffle" showed Bernie at his best. He told the press what fer about their obsessiveness and refusal to cover substantive issues that are not on the days Agenda of Fear.

But those who want artificiality and everything oh so carefully modulated and fast-food prerfab politics and policies will interpret that as a "ketrfuffle" and a "tantrum."

it wasn't a great idea to say it. I have no problem with Sanders not taking questions on ISIS in Baltimore but I do have a problem with her saying to the press don't ask about ISIS because, of course, that is what they then turn around and ask about.

Does she really think that's going to fly as believable after we all watched him have a tantrum over them even mentioning ISIS? And this was AFTER he was clearly done speaking and was walking away from the podium.

12. As Sanders stated there are other issues, 50% unemployment, poverty, mass incarceration and

unequal access to higher education, health care, stores, banks etc.

These topics are not covered by the corporate media each and every day, can we give just a few hours to discuss these topics?
Hundreds of thousands die, or die sooner, from our disparate political system.

And as a reminder, I do believe our invasion of Iraq led to the destabilization of the region and the rise of ISIS. Sanders recognized that and did his homework before giving Bush the authority to invade Iraq, Hillary did not recognize the consequences.

Should the mainstream corporate media delve into the causes of the rise of ISIS?

I would bet our misguided invasion of Iraq would play a role and we know who voted for that invasion.
