Clinton to campaign for Obama in Ohio, Florida next week

9/6/12 5:24 PM EDT

The AP reports:

Former President Bill Clinton plans to campaign for President Barack Obama in Ohio and Florida next week, seeking to bring the momentum of his convention speech to the nation's two largest battleground states.

Obama's campaign says details on Clinton's itinerary of campaign events were still being finalized Thursday.

Clinton gave a forceful speech at the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday, calling for Obama's re-election. He has said he would campaign extensively for the Democratic ticket this fall.

So the Big Dog probably won't come here. This is a VERY Conservative part of Florida. Went solidly for Bush both times. Michelle Obama did come here in 2008 and I went to our Civic Center to hear her. I promise you that crowd (and it was a HUGE crowd) was almost floating out of that center when we left! She was awesome.

I would love to hear the Big Dog but won't bet the farm he'll come here. I feel like the chances of Obama himself coming here are even less. But WOW, if he did. I would get up at dawn to be there!!
