How Does The MSM Handle Obvious RW Lies Apres-Big Dog's Speech Last Night?

Clinton laid out all the RW lies clearly, statistically and honestly.

So, what does the MSM do the next time a R shows up on their network and says that Obama ended the welfare work requirement, or that Obama stole $716-B from Medicare, or that Obama raised taxes on the middle class? Do they just sit there and treat the lies as facts? Do they not bother to challenge them on their lies because they believe "both sides do it," and that "it's just politics?" Do they continue to characterize Paul Ryan as a "deficit hawk?"

The hard right MSM will keep repeating the lies, the less rabid MSM will just ignore the lies and move along without correcting the record.

As Romney pollster Neil Newhouse said last week: "We're not going to let our campaign be dictated by fact-checkers".

Gotta love that quote.

and then they grumbled that the speech was too long, meaning those facts kept hammering them into the ground and they didn't like it.

I was wondering that myself last night (and still am).
The lies have been unequivocally revealed for what they are: LIES. So how do they just ignore it now?

For what it's worth, I watched the convention on Xbox Live last night and periodically instant poll questions would pop up for viewers to answer. Of course there's no way to know how many folks were watching, but when asked, 70% identified themselves as Democrats, about 15% Republican, and the balance were Other. But my point is (and I do have one!) that when asked about whether we respected Bill Clinton's opinion, 86% said "yes".

Americans believe Bill. When he says Romney and Ryan are lyin', folks believe him.
The media can't ignore the lies anymore.
