Because the Romney camp has raised untold millions in campaign funds, they may be pulling back only temporarily and employing a rope-a-dope strategy where they release an onslaught of negative ads during the last few days of the campaign.

They also may be reserving some of those funds for a massive ground game assault.

Whatever the strategy is, I hope I'm wrong. I hope that they really don't see much hope in MI and PA at least.

It's so hard for me to imagine anyone even watching these ads in this day and age. I know they do, but seriously. I either fast-forward or, if I'm watching live, I flip channels. Or talk to my spouse or kids. Political ads - even those for my guy - are just background noise. And for Obama, he's already so defined for most people that it's hard to believe they can sway anyone. For example, I saw something earlier that was going on about how Obama refused to deal with Republicans, refused to reach across the aisle, was hostile to the GOP, and ... wha??? Seriously, other than the nutty nut jobs who already hate him, who doesn't hear that and channel Reagan, as Clinton did, with, "There they go again!"
