(3,544 posts)The ironic part is their vote is just as equal as yours. Excuse the candy crushers for wanting a better future for themselves. Excuse them for wanting a better life. Excuse them for electing the ONLY truthful candidate out there. Excuse them for being smarter than you.
Making jokes about the millennials will come back and bite you in the ass.

Any team sports player knows that it's nice to have the fans cheering in the stadium, but all the shouting and cheering in the world won't put points on the board. You can't shout your way to victory, you have to EARN it by being BETTER than the other team.
At this point in the game, it's going to take SEVERAL "hail-Mary" touchdown passes for Team Bernie to catch up from their 30-point deficit. There's just not enough time remaining to do so.
Big-G-little-oh, GO, GO! Go, Hillary!

(30,251 posts)Part of the phenomenon that was the Obama campaign in 2008 was due to his personal story. It was history in the making. In 2016 nominating and electing a woman president will also be history making. Nominating an elder Socialist white man is not.

(3,544 posts)That's quite alright. I never expected for you to change your mind. Stay right where you are, living in your bubble, supporting someone that has no intention of making your life better, especially when it comes to making healthcare and education a right for everyone.

That said, care to explain how this unprecedented shift in votes is going to occur? (and before you tell me about secret millennial voters, remember that Bernie doesn't think they exist...)
Aerows
(39,961 posts)One stone at a time moves a mountain. One voter spoken to like a human being instead of being delivered a sales pitch, wins an election.
Then Bernie needs to start answering questions in the debates, rather than responding with his usual pre-packaged schpiel.

(42,862 posts)Bernie certainly had a lot of hurdles and obstacles blocking his way. As "enthusiastic" as his fans are, I doubt that their enthusiasm will be enough. He may win one or two states, barely, but things are unlikely to change for him.

(10,565 posts)All the HRC posters on this site are intelligent and articulate. I know it's hard for you to believe there are voters not taken in by Bernie's anger fueled "you kids get outta the yard" campaign, but HRC is so much more qualified to be President. That's why she continues to lead Bernie by double digits. Having said that, I have no animus for Bernie and would vote for him if he somehow won the primary.

Conflating Bernie Sanders with a desire to do away with all gun control.
That's a useful strategy.
I swear, you are all batting it out of the park tonight with the conflating Bernie with everything evil in the world.
Why don't you all start telling me why I should vote for Hillary Clinton?

(30,481 posts)the narrative here. The narrative here just doesn't match what the progressives I know are saying. Seems Sanders 31 is pretty soft support when looking at these numbers while Clinton is the one with much more solid support backing her. Very good to see. Go progressives. The voters on the left are uniting behind Clinton.

But seriously, that is one of the most striking things about those poll results. I should have known better. I was actually thinking for just a brief moment that is support outside of this website was equally strong and enthusiastic. I guess I was wrong.
