Hillary Clinton to Campaign With Billionaire Warren Buffett

Warren Buffett, chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, will appear with Hillary Clinton at a Dec. 16 grassroots rally in his hometown of Omaha, Nebraska, a Clinton aide told Bloomberg on Sunday, confirming an initial report in the Buffett-owned Omaha World-Herald.

...wow, so impressive how she reaches out to the middle class.

Excuse me, but I need to tell my maid, butler and pilot to get my jet ready...I need to go to Nordstom's in NoCal. Back in a bit! Just have to get a few Christmas tidbits for the pets!

Warren Buffett is a well-meaning, good-natured guy, but he's basically a rich kid who got even richer investing in things like Coca-Cola and Fruit of the Loom underwear, and Geico insurance. He's really not that interesting a character. And the idea that he has the ear of one of our candidates is yet more evidence of what everyone knows - that money still buys influence. We need our candidates to stop sending that message. Now.

He famously pointed out that his secretary unfairly pays a higher percentage of taxes than he does.

So maybe he will "buy" higher taxes on the wealthy from Bernie or HRC, depending on who gets the nomination. That would be nice.
