The shooting on Friday was at, as you know, a Planned Parenthood clinic, a place where lots of women get healthcare they need breast exams, STD testing, contraception, and, yes, safe and legal abortions, Clinton said at the New Hampshire Jefferson-Jackson Dinner. We should be supporting Planned Parenthood, not attacking it.
In an appeal for more stringent gun control, Clinton drew a connection between the Colorado shooting, which left three dead, and the terrorist attack on Paris earlier this month.
This is truly unbelievable, that after what weve seen in Paris and other places, Republicans will not bring up a bill that will prohibit anyone on the no-fly list from buying a gun in America," she said. "If you are too dangerous to fly in America, you are too dangerous to buy a gun in America.

I love that she's moved on to attacking Republicans, and this is an issue where Republican candidates (and some Democrats) fall way behind the curve.
Go, Hillary!

(12,655 posts)rw loons like this dear guy may not fly and might not be on such a list. how do we get to them?
i think we have to keep trying to close the loophole and put controls on purchase.
yeah, i know....good luck with that right?

(9,951 posts)you try to board a flight, once you're on the NF list, the average citizen has no means to get their name removed, how is this fair?
Ted Kennedy was on that list, TED KENNEDY!!!!!
The only reason he got removed is because he was a powerful, connected politician who personally called the DHS director and demanded he be removed, let the average citizen try that.
I love how progressives love to bash GW Bush policies until it comes to firearms, then all of a sudden, it's the greatest thing since apple pie.

(12,655 posts)but if the govt can put together a list of people that they consider too risky to fly, they have the capability of generating a list of people too dangerous to own a gun. whether either list is lawful or appropriate is another matter.
but they are full of it if they say its not possible to keep guns away from (most) lunatics.
