2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumAll the anti-Hillary diarrhea in the world isn't going to change a single mind. Time for a new tune.
Ah yes, the anti-Hillary diarrhea just keeps on flowing and flowing, but it isn't doing ANY good.
She is 20 points ahead nationally, BRILLIANT, PROGRESSIVE, and ULTRA-QUALIFIED, and will be the nominee. The Bernie pipe-dream isn't going to happen (good a guy as he is).
No admitted socialist is ever going to become President of this country. All this anti-Hillary drivel is doing is making whomever is driveling it feel better, I guess. Is isn't changing a single mind. If only so much energy was invested in touting one's own candidate. Maybe they have run out of things to say about him. Hm.......

(1,160 posts)I also think RBInMaine was just trying to upset people with a reference to diarrhea when talking about people's responses that don't support HRC.

(2,925 posts)but it is good to have a nurse around to take care of the diarrhea.

(42,862 posts)Hillary has thing thing in the bag, and I'm eager for it to be over. I CAN'T WAIT!! HURRY!! It's very exciting and I predict we'll know as early as March. Not only will I be thrilled that Hillary is the official Democratic nominee, it will be good to finally put all this bickering to an end. (So even if someone doesn't support Hillary, they do have something to look forward to anyway.)
NurseJackie
(42,862 posts)... which response you think is "insincere", because I can assure you that I was being sincere with BOTH responses.
The OP is correct, and I agree with the OP. Hillary will be the nominee, and I'm eager for that to happen. It's an exciting time, and I'm looking forward to March. (Why would you think that I was being insincere? Maybe I neglected to include enough uppercase letters or exclamation points.)
With regard to the OP's intent or motivation, I'm really not in a position to comment on that. That's something you'll have to take up with him/her to find out more.

(14,255 posts)change a single mind. Time to stop attempting to give orders concerning that.
Ah, yes, the anti-Bernie diarrhea keeps flowing and flowing, but it is not doing ANY good. Not even with random CAPS.
You should just really accept that, and move on.
NurseJackie
(42,862 posts)Just remember, the winner will not be Bernie.
Honestly, I've never seen anyone say this. Perhaps it's happened, but it appears to be more of a meme than truth.
I was thinking the exact same thing, only about Bernie fans.
One day soon, probably in March, we'll know that Hillary is the nominee and on that day we can all join together in friendship, unity and harmony and move on to the common cause of defeating the GOP candidate.
(Well, most of us, anyway.)
