She recently returned to touting her vote to build a wall between the USA and Mexico. (That is when she used the term "illegal immigrant." She has been in favor of comprehension immigration reform that punishes rather than grants amnesty. She sought to deport children refugees from Honduras and elsewhere to "send a message." And Elliot Spitzer has recently claimed that after she embarrassed herself by waffling on the drivers license issue in a debate with Obama (Obama was in favor of allowing immigrants who entered the country illegally have drivers licenses), her campaign people contacted Spitzer to tell him to make the issue go away.
Can you imagine the nonstop outrage if something like that had been revealed about Bernie? On DU it scarcely got noticed.

(7,231 posts)I honestly didn't know any of this. If I weren't in favour of Sanders already, this would drive me into the O'Malley camp.
This is not the record the Democratic frontrunner should have.
