(12,655 posts)but we have to remember that in many cases, it's the union leaders that are endorsing while many of their members are supporting Bernie or OM. Not every union polls its members.

(12,655 posts)if leaders seem to be about themselves and not the members, they will not be about the members on any issue. huge disincentive, which is too bad 'cause we really need unions.

(80 posts)All it has done is lose the labor movement supporters. It teaches it's political supporters that labor will sell them out as well. Why should someone vote and support labor like Bernie has if the labor movement won't support them over someone like Hillary.

(80 posts)But why should moderate dems support labor when their is clearly is no downside to not supporting it. Labor had shown it is wholly owned subsidiary of the establishment democratic party.
