But not all. Some Dems cost more than the Goppers.

Edited to add: According to HRC supporters it's all fine and dandy because it's legal. So write this down: If it's legal, it's good. Might want to write it a thousand times so you might actually believe it when you're done.

Good grief, we should be highjacking every single school board meeting, every single ALEC meeting, every single townhall, etc.

We should be flooding every single employee at the EPA and SEC and DOJ with letters and calls demanding they do their jobs.

We should be submitting 10K example interview questions to media every single minute until they learn how to ask better questions.

Rightwing politicos should NOT be allowed to go blithely around in their $3K-suit-2-martini-lunch-with-lobbyist bubble - we should POP that fucking bubble with our demands and criticisms on an hourly basis.

Jamie Dimon should NOT be able to make it to his car without hearing the 50 ways he needs to change his ways.

We should be countering the flood of rightwing radio, the flood of rightwing memes on FB and Instagram and reddit, etc with progressive ideas and responses and policies - but nary a peep from our side. Google any subject for images - and you will see 1000 rightwing memes already created, but NOTHING for our worldview.

We should have our own version of ALEC submitting pre-drafted legislative bills by the hundreds to our local and federal politicians on a daily basis. NOTHING.

It's outrageous just how civil and passive we all are.

the time to write their screeds, share some hateful meme posters on FB - at the very least. They work, they're busy, they're slipping financially too.

What they do, of course it's not activism per se, but at least their ideas are always out there. Unabashed, unapologetic, no matter how misguided, wrong-headed..

I for one, always try to be polite, considerate -- so I'm humble, don't put my views out there very often. The other side sure as hell isn't - they are in-your-face, front and center. Even on DU I rarely post.

WE are fighting for the soul of this people, this nation...but we barely peep, or worse, we let a few pols do the peeping for us.

Interesting alert.

Here is a message for the alerter (as if we couldn't guess who that was):

Anyone who brings in this much right wing bullshit to DU in order to attack Democrats should be locked out of more than just this thread.

Just sayin....

Yeah I alerted because I might as well have some fun. But like this thread proves it's not right wing bullshit.

WHO: Bill Clinton
WHEN: 1994-95
HOW MUCH: $50,000-$100,000
WHAT YOU GET: An overnight stay in the Lincoln Bedroom or dinner with Clinton at the White House
MONEY QUOTE: "The White House is like a subway: You have to put in coins to open the gates"—Johnny Chung, a Taiwanese-born businessman and major Democratic donor in the 1990s.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1251&pid=819468

REASON FOR ALERT

This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.

ALERTER'S COMMENTS

TRIPLING DOWN on this right wing conspiracy theory is WAY over the top inappropriate. DUers should not have to put up with some troll bringing every fucking crackpot right wing conspiracy theory to DU like it's fact and then bait them into getting hidden posts.

You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Mon Nov 16, 2015, 09:51 PM, and the Jury voted 2-5 to LEAVE IT.

Juror #1 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Let's keep Freeperville rhetoric ut of DU.
Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #3 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: This guy needs to go.
Juror #4 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #5 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: Pretty stupid to alert on this. The alert itself looks more rude and hurtful (fucking crackpot?) when they report what really happened with the Lincoln bedroom.
Juror #7 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given

Thank you very much for participating in our Jury system, and we hope you will be able to participate again in the future.
