Remember the FABRICATED story that one of Bernie's staffers threw a fit? (see one of *many* examples here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/1251811350 )
And remember how that was FABRICATED STORY started by the Hillary's Campaign? (see where the DNC called out this was started by Clinton Campaign here http://www.democraticunderground.com/1251815355)
Well here now is Hillary's campaign throwing a LITERAL TANTRUM at the person who tweeted the debate question that got her to shamelessly tie 911 to her Wall Street Donations (see: http://www.democraticunderground.com/1251816597 )
To me that's a Rovian tactic: accuse your opponent of exactly the failings you have.
I knew I was spot on when I discovered the ties that show Mark Penn was indeed working for her campaign again: http://www.democraticunderground.com/1251815355
This is just the kind of campaign implosion he would orchestrate.

(14,195 posts)By the way, PPP admits that they prescreened the voters they would use for the poll the day before. Wonder what questions they used then?

Her minions are attacking the Iowan who tweeted the comment, that was aired during the debate, about Hillary using 9/11 as a political device.
The talking point is that he is a "Twitter troll."
The media selected his tweet and he's just as shocked as anyone that his Tweet was selected.
He's a law professor at the University of Iowa.
Maybe she has a new PR firm representing her...one that has no experience with crisis communications.

(11,785 posts)That's what I thought it '08... she she was running a surprisingly bad campaign. I thought, though, that she'd jettisoned Penn. Either she hasn't, or she has an affinity for that sort of "campaigning", which doesn't say anything positive about her.

In Iowa, she spent the summer and early fall meeting behind closed door with small groups of supporters. She rarely allowed the media in.
Then, when she lost 30 points in Iowa, from May-August--she began doing some public speaking. These were at mainly smaller venues with a couple of hundred supporters.
She's managed to run an extremely scripted, fake campaign.
We need a real campaign. We need candidates who speak freely, answer questions and are engaging with voters. She's been able to avoid most of that.
She's terrible at being genuine and authentic. We saw during the debate what happens when she is called out for her Wall-Street relationships and the millions they have given her campaign. Her positions are indefensible and she knows it. So she invoked 9/11. Crazy.
Iowans will force her to get real. That's for sure. We demand authenticity. And if she can't handle that, or doesn't know how to deal honestly with real Americans, then she's in big trouble.
You can't hide behind soundbites and scripted, canned schtick forever.

(7,231 posts)I cannot help but feel that internal polls show Bernard Sanders is about to win somewhere, no matter how low Camp Clinton goes with their GOP tactics.

(62,325 posts)know that Brock was an early student of Rove, using those tactics to go after Clinton w/Paula Jones, no one should be surprised that when a campaign HIRES a student of Rove, that is what we will get.
