Hillary cites 9/11 in defending her WallStreet contributions, does not go over well...

"Hillary Clinton tried to deflect an attack on her political donations from Wall Street bankers by saying that they stemmed from her connection, as a U.S. senator from New York, to the downtown Manhattan community devastated by the Sept. 11, 2001, attack.

“So, I represented New York, and I represented New York on 9/11, when we were attacked,” she said.

“Where were we attacked? We were attacked in downtown Manhattan, where Wall Street is,” she continued. “I did spend a whole lot of time and effort helping them rebuild. That was good for New York. It was good for the economy, and it was a way to rebuke the terrorists who had attacked our country.”

Her statement appeared ripped from the playbook of Rudolph Giuliani, who was mayor of New York City when the 9/11 attacks took place and became legendary during his short-lived 2008 Republican presidential primary campaign for constantly invoking his role in responding to the attacks."

'We came, we saw, he died' has managed to sink even lower by playing the 9-11 card.

I do not think the new angry Hillary version 9.11 is going to win her many votes.

A decent politician, would not take millions in campaign donations from the banks. A decent politicians would not allow democracy to evolve down to this corrupt state where corporations can bribe politicians--and the politicians then owe those corporations favors, legislation, deregulation, etc.

This is not democracy!

This is a perversion of democracy.

We need a leader who will overturn Citizens United and get the corporate money out of our elections. When the politicians serve the banks, the oil companies, the for-profit prison system, the pharmaceutical companies and the health-insurance companies--We The People become invisible.

ENOUGH!!!!

If Hillary Clinton wants to continue serving her corporate masters, then she needs to get a job with her major donors--Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Citibank. Leave the governing to someone who will truly represent the people.

of it. No big deal. The point she was making is well understood by Americans. If you're a Senator and representing your states business interests which clearly is important, this will be reflected in political contributions. Americans don't always like it, but they understand it, and they are not going to hold Clinton to an unreasonable standard on this.

So we are supposed to somehow believe her efforts for Wall$treet after 9-11 were SO spectacular that the bankers are dying to give her mega bucks now? Mind you, after helping the WallStreet banks recover from 9-11 their greed crashed our entire economy in 08...

And she is AGAINST breaking up too big to fail banks, and against reinstating GlassSteagal.

So they give out of gratitude? Really? LOL!

They give to keep any realnreform from occuring, they give because they know she has their interests at heart, not the rest of us. Quid pro quo.
