She said her plan was tougher and more comprehensive that just repealing Glass-Steagall, which is said WOULD likely help by itself, but wasn't enough.

I think she made the Glass-Steagal comment as an aside, but I'll wait for the transcript. I will not call bullshit, but I wrote what I heard to my best recollection without any attempt to change the meaning.

You know damn well she said she wants something tougher than Glass-Steagall. Don't attempt to pass off your intentional misstatement to others.

So, yeah she's against it because she wants something tougher. You're being disingenuous with her statement.

That's the minimum. He would then close loopholes and tax speculation in addition to revoking overseas havens while breaking up the big banks.

Clinton opposes this as she said very clearly.

Or Bear Sterns or AIG or Fannie & Freddie!

The majority of shit that went wrong in 2008 wasn't because of the Glass Steagall repeal, it was shadow banks and other activities that were never regulated by Glass Steagall.

Glass stegal worked for decades then was trashed by Bill. Yup wouldn't work again at all.

She was tripping all over gpherself during that segment.

If she supported the return of glass stegal her Wall Street donations would dry up in a heartbeat.

She knows how her bread is buttered.

There are many Hillary supporters not happy with her opposing Glass Steagall. They are so upset by it that they deny she said it explicitly. Tomorrow they will wake up and have to reconcile Hilary's stance with their own.
