Predictwise: O'Malley is in the game!

He is now above 0% odds for both the nomination and the presidency!

Nomination:

HRC - 91%
BS - 7%
MOM - 2% (!!!)

Presidency:
HRC - 58%
BS - 6%
MOM - 1% (!!!!)

Now, interestingly, his uptick has come at the expense of Bernie and not Clinton. I am wondering if the investors are moving towards MOM gaining HRC supporters if she has to drop out. Or it could just be some investors getting in cheap on MOM in hopes they can sell for slightly more. We will have to see.

have a close race for second in some early states. Depending on where his support comes from we might be looking at a serious race between Clinton and O'Malley in Iowa for first. I know that sounds like a stretch but he is catching wind. O'Malley has been networking very well and he still has time in some of the smaller states. He has some ground game. I do disagree with you that Sanders is a phony. The perception some of his fans have of him is phony, I think he is genuine as can be. That doesn't mean perfect it just means he wakes up and does his best every day.

Also: do you realise that the word "phoney" is more associated with corporate politicians more than with independent ones?

7. I can think of several reasons against Bernie as the nominee, but "phony"

isn't one of them.

a) all politicians have a bit of "phony" in them, it's a necessary survival skill in the business.
b) Bernie seems to have less "phony" in him than the average politician.

But hey if you really think Hillary has less phony in her than Bernie ....

(that said, I'm voting for the Dem nominee in the general, I expect it will be Hillary, and I'm fine with that. Cause I've been playing this game for a few years.)

And I think he finishes second, no matter what. If Clinton stays on, he finishes second. If she drops out, I think O'Malley takes over and Sanders finishes second.
