You can all give up. Bernie Sanders just delivered the greatest roasting Donald Trump is likely to receive in what remains of his campaign.
....along comes Bernie Sanders. Not only did Sanders beat Trump in the race for campaign donations by 6 to 1 last quarter, but now he’s ripping him to shreds on the stump, too.
Sanders was addressing 2,800 people in Las Vegas late on Sunday, when the Las Vegas Sun reports the candidate turned on Trump’s anti-immigrant rhetoric with a fury no other candidate has yet mustered.
“To Donald Trump or anyone else in this country who refer to people from Mexico as rapists and criminals,” he boomed. “That is not an American value, that is old fashioned racism and we will not tolerate it!”
“It is not an American value to talk about rounding up millions of people and simply say that we are going to throw them out of the country. That is xenophobia,”
The social democrat went on to describe his campaign as “the beginning of the dismantling of an excessively wasteful $18 billion deportation regime.”
