2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumYou wouldn't continue to see a physician who maimed you, would you?
Or buy another house from a realtor who sold you a house built on a toxic waste dump, right?
Likewise, why would you want as the Democratic nominee for President a politician (Hillary Clinton) who helped send you or your loved ones to get maimed/killed in a war which turned out to be an utter lie? Or who helped decimate Americans' livelihoods through her unashamed support of imported cheap labor IT workers?
Seems to me that anyone who would want such an individual as the nominee would have to have rocks for brains.

(45,851 posts)But if you try to point out that some DUers might happen to be voting against their self interest they react with shock and anger, people don't like hearing that.
But they will keep right on saying it about other people and expect those others to listen to them.

(10,622 posts)All so a politician could "look tough" as a calculated political move.
But in the end, what does life matter? What does it buy? what power does it grant? What political position is not more important than fragile meaningless ....... life?
A political gain is far more important than such an intangible thing as a life, or hundreds of thousands of them amirite!!!
