It's really getting very old. I haven't seen one, single, instance of you being harassed. Not one. At all. Zero.

Everything you have against Bernie Sanders is in your head.

Bernie has spoken with BLM, has engaged POC with a platform that makes sense to reform the prison system, gun control, economic and social disparities for POC, and on and on.

But none of it is good enough for you.

Why?

Hillary hasn't done anything at all.

But you're going to vote for her because Bernie is to your "right" on issues?

You literally have no clue.

We are not your enemy. We are all friends on DU. We are NOT racist. We do not condone racism. We are voting for Bernie in part because a vote for him is a vote for EQUALITY for POC and other minority groups.

We love you. And everyone else too. Even the idiot Republicans.

So please just stop. No one is out to get you here.

So, telling us we get what we deserve is defending us? No fucking wonder there is no progress. If you think we are all going to see tgat as a defense, not a race based attack, I can see why you have never seen anything wrong come from that side. Nothing about poor whites, who there are moany more of on welfare, just targets us for the 'you get what you deserve, you blacks, if you don't vote bernie'. How is that supposed to not make us hurl?

His fans jump through hoops to try to defend it instead if just seeing why people would see it that way, and stepping up to say, THIS IS WRONG. That's all it takes. His fans to step up and say, THIS IS WRONG, instead of beating US up to defend the indefensible.

As a gay person I do not feel singled out. I believe that if a gay person votes for Hillary they also get what they deserve. It would be a profoundly gigantic slap in the face to people who actually care about LGBT people and don't use them as stairs to reach the presidency.

No one is making racist comments.

You keep claiming they are.

They're not.

Criticism of Hillary is NOT a racist comment.

These are factual statements.

She is AWFUL for POC.

She is playing you.

I'll repeat that.

I bury you, my grudges
deep inside
The coal black cavern that is my heart
Light no fire within my lonely vessel
For there sits a candle,
flame burning low.
The flicker felt,
shadows dancing,
Catching on remnants of pain and passion
Derision and laughter
Stay apart, oh grudges, rest, rest.
Time forgot you, oh!
The fields of my heart left fallow.
I bury you there, my grudges
Deep, oh, so deep!
That you may be born again
From the extant loam of life
That bears the acid sting of remembrance
Hide, my grudges, don’t tarry,
Grow behind my smile and laughter
The eye twinkle,
A gentle friendly seed
Patient ,patient, my grudges, lo!
Your dawn rides in
High on the wings of memory
To deracinate forgiveness
And steal revenge

and both were almost completely ignored.

Two reasons:

1. anything I post, someone who supports all Democratic candidates, is ignored no matter what unless it can be used against me

2. just a whole lotta talk around here and little else

That isn't a good sampling.

Most threads that aren't completely about the primary are sinking right now. That isn't an indictment of people chasing you around. It is an indictment of the way people are so fixated on the presidential election.

Some here are guilty of just being argumentative for fun but I am too so that is OK, what bothers me is many are here ONLY to criticize a certain person.

and following up with them and getting them to the polls, the Dem party would be that much better positioned to win.

But this is NOT the agenda of everyone here.

It is my agenda, to promote the party, but not many.

Now, I dont much like the Democratic Party anymore because it is FAR too NOT liberal for me, but given the alternative, well, you know.

Again, work 24/7 to change the system and take 5 minutes out (8 hours if you are Black) and vote on election day for the least objectionable so there is still something left to change.

After I pick classes this month for next semester, I can get my volunteer schedule in order. They call but I keep shining them on so I can get these stupid essays written and go to the art museum.

Hinting at the Clintons, they got good book deals and their books sold very well, they are good speech givers, they made money. Others in politics are not going to be very lucky like the Clintons. This couple did not get million dollar loan from their parents, it I their money. Their ancestors was not in politics as the Bush family.

Having no real estate and few investments, by the time you're 74, isn't the greatest resume for someone who wants to lead a trillion $ economy.

74. Bernie did not disclose his rental properties and his two homes.
Mon Nov 9, 2015, 04:41 PM
Nov 2015

In 2012 he reported rental income in the 6 figures from his rental properties.

https://www.opensecrets.org/pfds/assets.php?year=2012&cid=N00000528

But for some reason, for purposes of disclosure for his presidential nomination run, he did not report his two homes nor the rental properties, and what he did report was all in his wife's name:

Bernie Sanders on Thursday reported less than $750,000 in assets — all of it in his wife’s name — according to his presidential personal financial disclosure form.
...
Sanders’ $174,000 salary as a member of the Senate was not listed on the form. The couple’s real estate assets are not disclosed, either. According to campaign spokesman Michael Briggs, the senator owns at least two homes, one in Vermont and one on Capitol Hill.

Wives tend to outlive husbands. It ensures she is cared for.

And don't give me the "women aren't weak and don't need to be cared for" argument. That's not what I said. It's what any loving husband does. And what any loving wife does too. They protect each other financially upon untimely death.
