Something funny happened when Hillary was asked the republican VP question.

The audience gasped. One lady covered her mouth. It was like Rachel asked her something so horrifying and unimaginable that the crowd couldn't listen. Pretty funny.

... policy. And Hillary stated, out loud on television, that she's OK enough with multiple Republicans - and, therefore, their policy positions - that she would pick them for her VP.

What Republican policies are you OK with to the degree that you'd support them as part of the Democratic platform???

And the VP doesn't have any direct policy role or impact unless the Senate is locked up.

I remember seeing a "Hillary says she could pick a republican vice president!" post on here the other day.

I woulda laughed my butt off if Hillary said it was a stupid question. "Well, that's a stupid question, to my knowledge Democrat or Republican has ever chosen a running mate from the other party. Not since they stopped having the losing candidate be the vice president has the White House been one by two people from opposing parties." Something like that. I don't care how long it's been without looking I am going to say never. Because when it did happen the candidates didn't have running mates.

The envelope questions were random. Any of the candidates could have gotten them, but Hillary was always going to be the most interesting with this question because she is the most likely to win.

Rachel wanted to see them dodge, but the gasps in the room were even more interesting.

Mrs. Clinton does great on these kind of dramatic TV shows, there is not enough substance/depth to the questions not enough time to give a decent full answer.

I'm still waiting for some reporter to ask Mrs. Clinton if she would consider Senator Sanders as her VP. Same question for Senator Sanders. And to both of them why or why not.

Hillary and O'Malley can do nothing well. Only unquestioning devotion to St. Bernie is permitted.

Most Democrats like all of our candidates.
