The fact is, the Republicans cannot run anyone worth voting for. No matter how disappointed we are in Hillary Clinton, Sanders is right when he says she's better than any Republican on the horizon. Much better. Yeah, it's fun to complain about Clinton, but we could have somebody like Joe Lieberman. My friend saw me moping around one day and she said, "Cheer up! Things could be worse." So I cheered up and, sure enough, things got worse.

Unfortunately for the Dems there are lots of temper tantrums going on instead, ready to hand the Presidential reigns off to anyone but a Dem.

With whatever information you have at the time. That's the best any of us and our beliefs and values can do.

We just cant let Trump win.

I didn't think Ronald Reagan was a contender in 1979. Didn't believe it could really happen.

We can't get fooled again.

Okay, what if the choice of candidate is Clinton vs Carson? Clinton vs Trump? Or Huckabee? Or Rubio? Or any of the science-denying, racist, homophobic, misogynist cretins the GOP might offer? Are you so ideologically pure that you would stand by while this country elects a President who wants to invade every Muslim country on the planet, subsidize polluters to help them destroy the ecosystem, deny voting rights to anyone and everyone they deem to be not like them, take away women's sovereignty over their own bodies, and generally transform 21-century America into the Dickensian England of the 1850s? Is that the essence of your Commitment To WHAT.IS.RIGHT?

If so, then you should use your seniority here to have my newb ass banned post-haste, as I consider you a fool. Good evening!

If it turns out to be any Republican vs Clinton I will choose to vote for neither. Nor will I "stand by" while either Clinton, some Republican, or anyone who wants to invade every Muslim country on the planet, subsidize polluters to help them destroy the ecosystem, deny voting rights to anyone and everyone they deem to be not like them, take away women's sovereignty over their own bodies, and generally transform 21-century America into the Dickensian England of the 1850s.

How does you Party Purity stand up to that? How did it stand up to Hillary's support for Bush's wars, torture, the Patriot Act, the surveillance state, and other compromises she made with the Republicans.

Get back to me when my vote decides the outcome of the 2016 General Election.

Party over policy? Who's more of a FDR Dem? Tell us please. Who the hell cares what someone's party is as long as they're dead on with the issues. Did you support the 89 Dems who hurt SNAP benefits too?
