I will vote for the Democratic Nominee, but all these attacks on candidates are getting you nowhere.

I don't know who you think you are going to persuade with viciousness against those who don't agree with you or the candidate you don't support but that sort of bullshit is usually left for the right wing to use.

The Democratic candidates have tried to show civility in their exchanges but the supporters are rabid and will attack at every opportunity and then some.

Keep it up and neither candidate will be worth voting for, then what?

If you insult a political candidate you are effectively insulting the people who support that candidate. Around here, the insults seem to be directed at the candidates and their supporters. But guess what: You won't convert anybody that way. All you will do is cause the insult-ees to dig their heels in and resist harder. And maybe fling a little of the same poo back at you - so the argument escalates, people get mad, keep insulting, maybe get banned; and nobody's mind is changed in the slightest. I think some folks are just trying to win magical Internet points and don't give a damn about changing anyone's mind.

It worries me greatly that all of the hostility between candidate preferences will result in less people voting for the Democratic candidate next year. Regardless of who winds up winning as the candidate, winning the election will be all about turnout. Period. The GOP will lie, cheat, rig machines and disenfranchise thousands- if we don't have a landslide, we loose.
