2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumI just got home from a Bernie house party.
20 people; some neighbors, some activist friends of the host couple, some co-workers of the host.
A mix of lefties, centrists and conservatives who don't trust the system we're in.
Scheduled for one hour, and went on for two and a half hours, with people hanging around to discuss issues and really listen to each other.
Not at all a Bernie cheerleading session, but a thoughtful grass-roots event that will produce multiple such parties over the next six months.
This is the change that's gotta come.

School boards would be good. Those have been taken over by the Right Wing.

(14,255 posts)Democratic Party" could care less; down here, Progressives are discouraged from running, and all a representative would really do is undermine and/or ask if one was going to vote for Hillary if she is the nominee.
