(53,475 posts)... it's called the "Marquette" poll because the right-winger who runs it is some kind of Marquette professor, or janitor, or something. He does this at the behest of the Bradley Foundation, which is the evil spawn of Americans for Prosperity.
Nobody should relax, particularly in Wisconsin. Between voter suppression and outright election fraud (electronic and otherwise) I suspect the Republicans will "win" Wisconsin.

(461 posts)What makes it even more outrageous is that twelve years after all the bullshit in Florida, little, if any thing has been done to correct it. Where I vote in SE WI, they use paper ballots marked with black markers, but the counting is done with a Diebold machine.

(4,551 posts)I wouldn't use the word relax. I assume your point is that it shows Obama is still in the game in Wisconsin, which is good, but since it shows things are very close and practically a tie, it's obvious a lot of work is yet to be done.

(4,667 posts)I think we have some people who are taking the word "relax" a little to seriously and way out of context. Perhaps I should have used the phrase "calm down" instead. The point is, that despite the hysteria over Wisconsin this last week, the President still leads. And with A LOT OF HARD WORK we will have Wisconsin in the blue column on election night.
I love this forum, but sometimes we have some people here who may drink a little too much coffee each day! LOL!

(36,974 posts)There are still too many days between now and then.
And too many chances that the GOPers could steal the election!

(4,551 posts)Jesse Ventura's books have several good chapters in them outlining the way in which the Republicans, Diebold, Rove etc. have been involved in electoral fraud, and why it's safer to have a paper trail than to turn everything over to electronic manipulation.
