Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden Hold Koch Killing Meeting To Discuss Money In PoliticsAccording to the Sanders campaign:
Among the many issues they discussed was the need to address campaign finance reform so that the wealthy and powerful cannot wield undue influence in the political process. They also spoke about the need to extend public education in the United States through college so every young person in America, regardless of income, will be able to get a college education.
Bernie Sanders is slowly winning the battle against the billionaires. The popular movement of millions that he is building is having an impact at the highest levels of our government. With his political revolution growing, Bernie Sanders is landing blows against the billionaires.
In so many polls the American People say that Getting the Money out of Politics is a #1 Issue for them.
Negative Campaigns funded by that Corporate Money through Super Pacs also very unpopular with the people.
Biden and Bernie are on the page regarding the Money in Politics. See here:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/1251577777 where Biden told a group of Bernie Supporters:
"Vote for Bernie, he's a good man" and emphasized how important it is to GET THE MONEY OUT OF POLITICS which is Bernie's main message!
Could Joe be thinking of participating in Bernie's growing Political Revolution?

(62,325 posts)ago. He was adamant that this has to be a #1 issue in this campaign.
He went further and stated that until it is dealt with 'Nothing else can be accomplished' and then told his young audience not to think they did not have the power to end it. That they should not listen to those who might be telling them otherwise.
He also said they should not trust anyone, 'even me' to NOT be influenced by that money.
When there was speculation about him running, considering his passionate remarks about this, I wondered how he could TAKE THAT MONEY without seeming like a hypocrite.
Maybe he decided he couldn't.
It is very significant that he has let it be known he agrees with Sanders on this.
Hillary is taking untold amounts of that money. According to Biden we should not trust her not to be influenced by it. I do not.

(62,325 posts)so people who are asking why he waited so long, can see that from the beginning almost, he has been in agreement with Bernie's platform as he said again very strongly this week.
Even before this, he was speaking about the money in politics and Bernie's focus on it.
