Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) fundraising email

Ted Cruz is seeking the Republican nomination for president.

In an email tonight, he complained that the questions at the most recent Republican debate were too tough, and claimed that the toughest question in the Democratic debate was, "Who is more handsome?"

Asking who was more handsome of a group of people who included a woman might be some actual sexism, unlike anything Bernie has ever said.

...was asked why he voted against an immigration bill.

Sanders said that it would have exploited guest workers, and that progressive Senator Tom Harkin voted against it for the same reason.

Then a moderator rudely exclaimed, "Tom Harkin isn't running for president!"

Ted Cruz's portrayal of the Democratic debate as softball is the opposite of what happened.
