Romney's MO is to criticize Europe, the U.K. excepted, though he breaks that particular rule when he's actually a guest in Britain.
You say, "Well, what about Poland? He visited Poland too." Ah, that was for symbolic value and a bit of trawling for Catholic votes.

Seems to me they have carefully staged who gets to ask the questions...quite apparent that Romney can't hold public forums without Ryan. Who is running for president?????
Together they are speaking a great line, but leave a lot out on what they really mean.
