G.O.P. Packaging Seeks to Reveal a Warm Romney

They hail from the Broadway stage, the control rooms of NBC and the design studios that created sleek sets for Oprah Winfrey and Jon Stewart.

Their craft is slick packaging and eye candy that audiences consume by the millions.

Their latest project? Selling the Mitt Romney story in prime time.

They have to hire a massive team to try and make him look human and likable.

His wife has to go on tv and tell everyone that he's really not a stiff, like he appears.

His sons go on a tv tour to try and "humanize" him, but instead reveal that he's a bully.

His past classmates reveal that he was a bully in school.

He refuses to release even ONE complete year of tax returns.

He hid is Olympic records.

He hid all the computer trails of his time as Gov. of Mass.

He gets into yelling matches at his public events.

He accosts a reporter on camera (at least twice,) for disagreeing with him.

He goes from being a moderate, pro choice, politician, to being a tea party, Ralph Reed, clone.

He choses a Tea Party darling as a VP, then has to explain and backtrack that Ryan won't be himself.

He walks things back, more than he walks forward.

There's just too much to list. But THIS was the best of the best, for the Republicans? They have to hire the woman that tried to do the PR to counteract the oily ducks in the BP Spill. And still he's not likable.

Good luck with that. He's just not likable. And neither is his VP, as people are finding out.
