2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumIn case anyone's wondering about the increasingly unhinged attacks on Hillary we're seeing.
The explanation is pretty simple...

(4,211 posts)upaloopa attacked those who don't favor hillary by calling into question their level of intelligence, but couldn't spell "truth" correctly. The "r" in truth is nowhere near the "h" that replaced it, on the keyboard. Those who throw stones shouldn't live in glass houses, as the saying goes.

(6,399 posts)Every single thing in this particular subthread is about a fucking typo. Not IQ, not all this other stuff being dragged in.
Has reading comprehension dropped so horribly these days among DUers?
Bubzer
(4,211 posts)Selectively attacking Human101948's post, but ignoring the attacks made by upaloopa puts you in the position of defending upaloopa since your attacks are unevenly distributed.
You may want to re read the thread.

The anti Bernie OP's read like junior high insults.
That's about the level they are.
There's no shortage of immaturity in either camp. Clintonistas are just as wrong (if not more) in this.

when it comes to war, hillary isn't the adult in the room.
I posted a while ago that the tide of the primary can be determined by the sides posting patterns. Hillary supporters were posting some pretty rough shit for a while as Sanders support grew. It's now going the other way as Sanders plateaued a couple weeks ago. I don't think the pendulum is done swinging yet.

What's going to happen in a months (February 2nd) when Martin O'Malley's finishes ahead of Bernie in Iowa? (M O'M's ground game is fierce.)

(30,058 posts)She has had a great month resulting in increase of poll numbers. Her testimony exposed a very presidential view and resulted in increased poll numbers. Now some are attempting to rise above the wave and we know the game, the same one launched by Republicans for years. Guess what, nasty but she still performs well.

(12,504 posts)I've always believed and will continue to do so that 10,000 people voting have more power than 1 multi millionaire...once in the voting booth.
Those who want to throw in the towel and fall on their swords claiming they have no power in the vote are just plain wrong.
These poll numbers are obtained via individuals....so please explain how you this your false premise can play with these numbers.

(2,570 posts)use to castigate and figuratively castrate their opposition, and particularly when they are subliminally aware of their own impotence.
Sadly examples of this "unhinged" state are nowhere in evidence, suggesting that it is just another case of projection on the part of a Clinton supporter.
And even if some isolated examples do exist, they were likely motivated by feelings/thoughts long in existence as opposed to cultivated and prompted by poll movements you can't or haven't established they are even aware of or do pay any attention to. Furthermore, your use of "increasingly" suggests that "unhinged" is not a new problem associated with poll numbers, so to suggest that those numbers are now the sole or even dominant cause of an unestablished escalation is hooey.
I'd suggest that maybe that escalation your percieving but have failed to establish is just a product of your less than creative and entirely predictable imagination. This post is all about rubbing BS supporters nose in it, and the "unhinged" description is no doubt Clinton-speak for "material we have no rebuttal to".
Sure genius, BS supporters simply can't control themselves because being in second place is something they've yet to grow accustomed to, as are movements up and down polls period.

Pretty clear that his growth stalled out in mid-September: before Biden, before the debate and before the Benghazi hearing. Those were icing on the cake.
