Related: About this forumDe Blasio Plans to Endorse Hillary Clinton!!!!!
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio is planning to endorse Hillary Clinton for president before his planned candidates forum in Iowa in December, marking the end of a process that exposed Mr. de Blasio to criticism as other top Democrats lined up behind Mrs. Clinton.
The endorsement could happen long before the forum, according to a person familiar with the matter. Discussions are still under way with the Clinton camp, however, and aides for Mr. de Blasio are trying to decide how to roll out the backing.
Mr. de Blasios support would be what many political observers and people close to the mayor saw as an inevitability, even as he had declined for months to back Mrs. Clintons pursuit of the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination.

Since he sees fit to not endorse the sanctified Sanders, under the bus he goes.

(9,841 posts)Now, for a prominent Dem to come out and to endorse Bernie, that would be practically an act of treason!

(7,015 posts)Grijalva of Arizona and Ellison of Minnesota. Can you point me to anyone here who has called them a traitor to Democrats?
Many of Bernie's supporters are always surprised/caught gobsmacked when liberal/progressive Democrats support the leading liberal/progressive Democrat.
They are very dismissive of Hillary's strengths, her decades of hard work building relationships and pushing policy at all levels, nation wide and world wide. They are so invested in her flaws as the lynchpin to their Revolution that they forget that politics is a social endeavor--and that it takes work.
And they don't want to do the work. They just want it to happen. Right now. And you're called an idiot or pushed under their bus.
