2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumWas anybody watching this mornings media fest overreaction to VP Biden's "Chain's" comments?
These guys will do anything to pretend that there is a controversy in this issue on Obama's side yet to get them to actually rip Team (R)Money over blatant falsifications, diversions and obfuscation is akin to pulling a horses tooth.

(19,458 posts)Seriously. I keep seeing this "outrage" from Romney, Inc., and the media, but I don't understand why I should be outraged?
They're saying Biden is not up to the job "mentally" and that he's "stupid." But I still haven't heard one person in the media or the other campaign say WHY the remark was supposedly career-ending, or campaign-destroying.
Is it supposed to be racist? I'm being serious. Because if it is, since WHEN is Romney Inc. concerned about slavery? or the sensibilities of people who are not white? I don't hear anyone in the REAL world complaining about this. It's one of those fake outrages that the media is latching onto and the Romney campaign is PINNING their hopes on. They're VP candidate sucks ass, so they want to destroy VP Biden over a comment.
Seriously.. can the media not see that the Romney campaign has done nothing but pick up a phrase or word from a speech, and build that week's campaign around it? Why haven't they called them on it and said "Gee, your campaign seems to be about cherry-picking things from the President and VP's speeches, and spending days trying to tear them down over something taken out of context. Is this your plan for America? Is this how you'll govern? If the leader of Iran makes a speech, is your idea of foreign policy to take a sentence out of it and mock it or create faux outrage? Cuz that's called PROPAGANDA."
