Dear Mr. President

Just one simple request.

Please schedule one really big ass rally.

Pick a huge stadium or better yet an outdoor area where folks can gather, a really big outdoor area (don't worry security glass can be put around the sides.

Announce the date a couple of weeks in advance so everybody within 5 hours driving can make the trip.

Then sit back and let us do our thing.

There are millions that want to show you that they are with you. They are willing to drive a couple of hundred miles and stand in the sun for a couple of hours.

Then let the Romney/Ryan campaign try and fill up the bowling allies.

We can't send you hundreds of millions.

But we can come in the hundreds of thousands to make a point. In fact, put it in the right spot and we will come in the many many hundreds of thousands. You will have to do it on a Saturday because we will come in the hundreds of thousands, the many hundreds of thousands.

We will come like an ocean.

Because we want people to see what enthusiasm is, and who has it and who doesn't.

We want to help keep this country going in the right direction but we don't have a hundred million dollars to show how committed we are, so have one really big ass rally and let us tie up an interstate for 30 miles and let us help show you how really pissed we are about this election.

It will also help us from throwing our TVs out the window. We will print out a collage of the really big ass rally and tape it over the TV.

And then when the election night is over we can take the tape off and watch the results. No TVs out the window and after the election our children will be able to watch TV because it won't be on the sidewalk in small pieces.

Please do a really big ass rally so that we can come in the hundreds and hundreds of thousands and tie up the interstate for hours for miles around so that Romney's little crowds look really puny so that we feel better about doing something so we don't throw our TVs out the window so that our children can watch TV after the election.

Please do it for the children.

Thank you.

Instead I had to wait to move to Portland until right after the election, just in time to avoid traveling through the snow storm then, but to have to unpack, etc. during it.

Oh well, I tried with my last votes in California to help stop prop 8, but alas didn't do any good. At least Merkley got elected to the Senate without my help other than my donation then.

Once you re past this final election, please give us THE REAL Change We Can Believe In! No cutting social welfare programs, just refine them up! Don't sell us out anymore to Big Pharma, BP or anyone else. Also, tell the American people before the next mid-term elections that we need complete campaign finance reform b/c everyone in D.C. Is bought! Thanks!

They are used to accomidating 100.000 +++ fans, (including parking) and getting folks in and out with relative efficency. Set up booths for local Dems along "Souvenier Row". Have a parade. VIP stuff is pretty well set up already, for the $2500/plate crowd. Media facilities are in place........

since you always know how much more you're going to need to share with everyone at the table.

More people = More pie.

Pie is also everywhere; every time you divide it, there's still some left, so dividing it makes more.

We CAN do this.

When I was in 7th grade. He had the whole place filled. I don't even remember what he said, but it was one of those things that you will understand that we live in a great land with often good folks running the show.

Two years before that I got to give a shovel to Herbert Hoover so he could set ground for a new Boy's Club in San Leandro. I wasn't impressed. When my Dad got home that day, he said why didn't you hit him with the shovel?

But failing to vote doesn't help. That said, I haven't heard of 08 Obama supporters moving to Romney - but plenty of 08 Obama supporters are disengaged this time around, especially young voters who are scrambling to get jobs and pay college loans.

imo it would help if those who aren't happy with the prez voted for him as the lesser of evils and then pushed for him to do the people's work instead of propping up corporations (and, yes, Dems are guilty there too).

But, let's face it, our two-party (one-party, two faces) system is rigged for corporations and against the people, and our voting system is corrupt and unverifiable - so we the people have a lot of work to do.
