Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton holds a sizable lead in the race for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination, according to a national poll conducted in the wake of last Tuesdays Democratic debate in Las Vegas.
Mrs. Clinton had the support of 48 percent of Democrats and Democratic-leaning voters in the Monmouth University poll released Monday up from 42 percent last month.
Sen. Bernie Sanders was at 21 percent, basically the same as his 20 percent support last month. And Vice President Joseph R. Biden was at 17 percent down from 22 percent last month.
If Mr. Bidens supporters are reallocated without him in the race, Mrs. Clinton had a 57 percent to 24 percent lead over Mr. Sanders........... .............

(30,439 posts)It's not a Washington Times poll, it's a Monmouth University poll:

(83,860 posts)I was just reading your thread about Hillary in Texas. You are full of positive news today, keep up the good work.

(70,283 posts)where she is or what is saying--or what the folks are asking at her town halls. And photos if available. The Texas event was especially nice for her.
Thanks for your kind words.
Have a good day.

(30,439 posts)Not every Democratic primary voter watched the debate, but that doesn't mean they won't be voting.
Sometimes people are busy and they just can't watch.

(21,210 posts)4. "Did you watch any of the Democratic candidates debate from Tuesday night, or have you not seen any of it? [If YES: Did you watch the entire debate, watch part of it, or have you just seen clips of it?]"
But I am not going to kick this thread just because the OP likes the title from the Washington Times.

(21,210 posts)but they might be too busy to vote for Clinton as they see her as just another extension of the establishment candidates.

(1,432 posts)She will not do anything to change the course of our world, and it's painful to see that so many people believe she is the answer.

The American middle class has been getting screwed for 35 years. And yet it appears plenty of middle class people are willing to cast their votes for more of the same.

(1,432 posts)But with Bernie I see a chance for real change. Not so much with Hillary. Plus the amount of scandal bullshit we'll have to endure during her term is almost unbearable to think about. It's inevitable the repubs and the m$m will find something to plague our airwaves with. We won't have that problem with Bernie. The may scream socialist, but I'll take that any day over what we'll endure with HRC.
Go Bernie!
