Don't underestimate the firepower pointing our way, but I do think we can win.

To the first point: we are taking on the entire Military Industrial Complex with a Bernie Sanders nomination. For a few examples of specifics,
http://www.nytimes.com/2015/05/28/upshot/the-senate-votes-that-divided-hillary-clinton-and-bernie-sanders.html?_r=1

But the reasons that I think Bernie Sanders can win and Hillary Clinton can not are these:

Hillary is very well known already, to her benefit and detriment. The right is not going to vote for her under almost any circumstance. Wrongly, in my opinion, and actually disgracefully, the right has really dragged her name through the mud for decades now, making her a symbol to which they respond viscerally.

Bernie has a lot of room to define himself in the next five or so months till the primaries. Bernie has appeal for independents and crossover voters who like what he has to say, but also doesn't have decades of crap that Hillary has had to deal with. I just think Bernie has a much better chance to be heard by the other half of the country than Hillary does, both now and in the general election.

There are a lot of reasons I like Bernie and am reluctant to support Hillary, but this is why I think he has a better chance of winning.

It's a small mercy that the Republicans can't put together a field that looks even reasonably competent, so we do have that going for us, but the whole oligarchy has got a bead on us, and we really do have to win this one.

My .02 and I think the first time I've posted in GDP. Please don't make me regret it

We as Bernie supporters don't just have to fight
the establishment of the Democratic party, but also
a long list of others: the media, the banks and corporations,
(in other words the super pacs), the whole government
structure as well as the repugs. The MIC and NSA, as well
as the CIA will work against him as well. So all we have
are WE the PEOPLE. Knowing all of this I will still work for
Bernie as much as I can.

BTW, if the repugs turn out to be really clever, they will
choose Kasich. That would be an unbelievably hard
fight.

From the day he announced he cautioned that it would be a rough and maybe an ugly campaign. He's a political veteran and he knew exactly what the score was when he decided to run and said as much. Now we know what he was talking about.

That's one of the most inspirational things about Bernie for me, is that he knows
full-well who and what he's talking on, to fight the good fight with We the People.

Yet he decided We and our nation was well-worth the fight. Bernie is a rare bird,
with a huge wing-span ,given half a chance .. together we will do this.

GO Bernie. Go we the people.

But that will mostly be the politically active, the rest will stay home, why bother when the end result will be the same when the choice is Clinton vs Republican.

We'll be facing the firepower of the entire establishment. You can smell the stench of it in the Hillary-crushed-them-all-at-the-debate steer manure.

And we'll win. The People are not the establishment. The people know that the establishment is a more immediate threat to us than ISIS. They aren't the good guys. We know our enemies: The bankers who rob us, the employers who starve us and the fossil fuel industries that poison our air and water and then lie to us and all of them have been at this little game for since the inauguration of Ronald Reagan and enough is enough.

That's why we will win with Bernie.

of the Dem base. Bernie already making inroads even there.

But Indies, and Repubs and Libertarians and non voters are all flocking to his campaign.

Even when they don't agree with him on some issues, people are now focused on the major issues that affect ALL Americans.

You can't win without cross over appeal, and Bernie definitely has that.

The People United Can Never Be Defeated!

Kakou, all of us, including you.
Makou, us, not including you.

There are others too.

English has its limitations

Came back to add that it's an oukou thing if you are one of the contractors that Truman described in his famous speech. If you're a serving or retired member of the armed forces, it's a kakou thing, unless you disagree.
