south carolinians: does obama have a chance here?

i noticed on http://www.electoral-vote.com/ that rmoney's lead is a measly 6%.

i realize that south carolina is not going to be the "tipping point" -- that is, any scenario in which obama wins south carolina involves him winning comfortably without it.

nevertheless, if the obama campaign continues to strengthen and people more and more turn off to the republican ticket, can we snag the palmetto state?

Georgia is the one SE state where Obama has A SLIM CHANCE. And no, Florida is not a SE state.

hence the question -- how is georgia possible when he's down 9% but south carolina is not when he's only down 6%?
