FWIW I'm from New York, lived in Brooklyn til 9 years old, then L.I., Jewish, a few years younger than Bernie, and I support Martin O'Malley.

It seems apparent that we - the "Jewish vote" - have a tendency to wander off the beaten path.

We meet at a reputable (meaning they serve big portions) deli once a month, dine on over-priced tepid soup (which we complain about), and discuss who we're ALL going to vote for.

Sort of like the non-Jewish voters.

When it gets to the general election, I suspect most Jewish voters, as in the past, will support the Democratic party candidate as they have in the past, if for no other reason than that they understand as well as anyone the threat posed by a Supreme Court appointed by any of the potential repub candidates. WHich is something some of the my candidate or no one crew on DU ought to think about.

Along with the "free stuff" card, and the Marxist card.

For Hillary it they hold the Benghazi card and the e-mail cards and the anti-Clinton card.

Unfortunately. You see, they side with the right-wingers who hate gay marriage, abortion, etc. They also seem to think that Republicans love Israel more than Democrats. My Orthodox relatives and I have an agreement to never talk politics, though it does sometimes come out and the discussion is never pretty. I personally am leaning toward Bernie Sanders, but I'll vote for any Democrat over the insane nut jobs running on the Republican ticket.

Israel strongly enough, take that to outright sedition by inviting Netanyahu in to tell President Obama how to protect Netanyahu's fanny then follow that up with a letter to Iran signed by 47 Republican Senators.

Now, a Jewish man is running for President. What could be more interesting than guessing how that will play in their attack dialog.

Especially when a visit through conservative websites and radio will reveal all that anti-Jewish Jewish banker/Jews rule the world conspiracies and hoo ha and foolery.

It would have to be modified from the "Christ killer" slur, but it wouldn't take much tinkering. People get very creative with their anti-Semitism. There will be lots of deaf dogs soon.

One couple I know are solid Trump supporters. A few others are Hillary leaners. And several others are fine with "whoever is the nominee".

That's the round up from my small sample.

Park, and the jewish sections of Williamsburg will go for Hillary but secular Jews in Brooklyn will be in play.

Places in north eastern Brooklyn might ge a Sanders stronghold but the rest of the borough will overwhelm his support there.
