Believes in and supports:

A strong Social Safety Net
Regulations on Businesses
A Progressive Tax system
Allowing Adults to do what they want with their body
Public Education
Unions
Drug Legalization

You know traditional Liberal positions, something that is in short supply in the party lately.

I'm not blind to Obama's faults and he is too right and too authoritarian for my preferences, but there is no way that even semi-realistic answers to that quiz would put Obama where they put him.

I answered the way I thought Obama would be likely to answer. I got Economic Left/Right: -1.00 and Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.79 and that includes "disagree" on personal pot use and "agree" on military action that defies international law being sometimes justified.

I looked for a page that detailed how they answered the questions for each candidate, but I couldn't find one. The only explanation is a listing of some of the worst things he's done and an offensive suggestion that people only voted for him in 2008 because he's black.

The quiz is fun to take, but that chart and the rest of the content of site are bullshit.

aren't deep enough into the green quadrant. Unfortunately, he and the others are unlikely to have the time to take the quiz and lay the issue to rest.

But it is still fun to take, and there are other tests out there I will be dredging up because my teen son is into those sorts of things and it's nice to do them with him.

But it isn't. Trying to peg someone's ideology based off only a few questions doesn't work. It's too easy. The graph shows why. I'd wager Pres. Obama has far more in common with Rocky Anderson than he does Mitt Romney and yet, they're nowhere near each other.
