"CNN's first Democratic debate of the season scored a bigger online audience than its first Republican debate, according to the network's internal measurements.
The live stream peaked at 980,000 concurrent live streams around 10:20 pm Eastern Time, a CNN spokesman said. The network's GOP debate on September 16 peaked with 921,000 concurrent streams."

Actual 'ratings' or viewer numbers will be out later, but the live stream figures are nice.

(11,495 posts)I think that shows the country is not all that happy with the GOP, and are trying to find a better choice than the occupants of the GOP clown car.
What I saw last night was a real discussion on the issues, not a bunch of morons on state, like in the GOP, trying to out "Trump" the
Donald in seeing who could alienate the most americans with their BS ideas on immigration, women's rights etc.

(11,495 posts)I think the only reason a lot of viewers even watched the GOP debates is to see just how crazy Trump will be, and how much he will attack his own fellow candidates. Their "best" has yet to appear, but the worst in them all has come out for all the country to see.
