Mediate: Bernie Sanders Wins… At Least By Google Analytics

Mediate: Bernie Sanders Wins… At Least By Google Analytics

According to the Google Trends homepage minutes after the debate ended, Sanders searches on Google took a high spike after 11 p.m. ET.

Although many of the debate-centered searches on Google revealed some American’s preference for other information (“How old is Anderson Cooper?” and “How much is Anderson Cooper worth?” are the top two regarding the moderator), Sanders was the most searched candidate.

On the post-debate special of MSNBC’s Hardball with Chris Matthews, Howard Fineman called Sander’s Google success a product of “the intensity of interest”.

Clear trend ... traditional media is saying Clinton won, metrics and social media give it to Sanders.
