Ryan is not a game changer. He's game over.

Seriously, is Willard kidding?

This fires up The Base, but they were always going to vote for Willard - - I'm sorry, vote against Obama - - anyway (albeit while holding their noses).

This does nothing to help Willard with independents, undecideds, etc. In fact, it only hurts him. Team Obama doesn't have to work hard to define Ryan, he comes already pre-packaged as defined in the minds of most Americans - - and not in a good way. Simply put, this is the man who wants to give more money to the rich by destroying Medicare. Good luck with that.

To that end, Willard's paths to victory in the Electoral College are minimal at best, and non-existent if he can't win Florida. By picking Ryan, he can kiss Florida, and the presidency, goodbye (see: destroying Medicare, above).

Moreover, this kind of hail-Mary attempt to pander to the extremes of the GOP is blatant and transparent, and doesn't do anything to make Willard look "Presidential." Instead, picking Ryan only adds to the narrative, which has picked up steam recently, that Willard is desperate and weak.

And by the way, I assume that Ryan has released all of his tax returns, or will soon? Looking forward to that.

We are on our way to a rout, folks. But don't stop hammering, don'e stop knocking on doors, making calls, or donating. Take nothing for granted, because everything is at stake.
