Do you think that Mitt already knows he will probably lose the election?

Romney seems to be messing up every day. Some days it seems like he messes up on purpose.

Seems to me like Mitt already knows (by looking at the electoral predication maps) that President Obama will win in November.

So, do you think that Mitt probably knows that he will more than likely lose?

Some campaigns work in a bubble and don't let their candidate see the hard news. If that's the case, his campaign could be feeding him a boatload of BS.

In all reality, though, Romney has outside sources, namely his family, and I'm guessing they've been candid with him and told him his standing and it's not good. It's probably why he picked Ryan.

that is, its not looking good for him, but he (and they) hope their game playing with disenfranchisement works in their favor.

than those for other offices. In addition, Romney has spent his entire life in a bubble but has absolutely no clue that he is in a bubble, or that there really are others out there, outside.

He lied and bullshitted his way to the Governorship in MA, without releasing his taxes or giving straight answers to whether he
was still in control of Bain. Since the voters there had already seen this when he ran against Teddy, it was sort of old news and didn't have the impact. He's arrogant and thinks he can BS and evade like he did before and win. He's playing in the big leagues now. It's his arrogance that will be his downfall.

On one hand Mitt is that stupid. But, on the other hand he picked Ryan so that reeks of desperation. I think he knows, but he will keep going like he has a chance.

Obama still leads, he still trails and people have largely made up their minds. But I don't think he's given up by any means and he has more money than God so we'll see.

when Romney/Ryan are defeated, isn't Ryan finished politically? He can't run for VP and the House simultaneously, can he???

@AlexNBCNews: Should note, per WI law, Ryan is able to stay on ballot for his congressional re-elect AND be on Romney's ticket as VP

That is one of the three reasons I listed as to why he was probably picked - here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/125167328

Also that this morning's "game changer" announcement will stop the momentum against him.

As opposed to the reality of it potentially surging momentum away from him, as dem candidates everywhere tie their opponents to Ryan's plan to destroy SS/Medicare.

He knows he has the 'dumb' states, no matter what, and some 'same old' tricks in Ohio and Florida will pull it off.
