When George bush adopted his policy and began talking about it publicly, his poll numbers took a dive and the republics lost 30 seats in the House.

Then they will talk pensions. And play the young off the old again. That is the coalition they hope to build.... getting the young to vote GOP that way.

7. I disagree. They may try, but it's not going to work.

IIRC, the republicans plan to shift responsibility for indigent parents onto their children. 'll have to research it, but I'm sure that is part of the plan. So just telling these kids that they will become responsible for their parents care and medical bills that the Ryan budget won't cover, will make them do a double take.

4. Bold = stupid, in Romney's world. Another Palin disaster.

They could have picked someone like Pawlenty or Portman and the seniors would be like.. "oh, he seems like a nice man." But Ryan is a Norquist/Koch wannabe, who is reviled by seniors already. But Romney 1) has to worship at the altar of Norquist. 2) pay back the investment of 100s of millions of campaign donations by Koch Bros/Sheldon A 3) wants to do something BOLD!

But he's an idiot in many ways. They HAVE the stupid effing tea party, anti tax nuts, vote. They HAD the senior vote.. they needed everyone else. So what do they do?? They choose a guy that makes the tea baggers happy, the libertarian wackadoodles happy, and pisses off the seniors.

WHAT COULD GO WRONG??? hahaha. It's as if Sarah Palin and Eddie Munster had a child together, and was adopted by the Koch Brothers.

match for Romney. Why on earth would he choose to tie himself to the Rethug House and Ryans budget even more closely than he already is. They're about as popular as venereal disease.
