This is for the election to replace Joe Lieberman. Chris, currently U.S. Congressman from CT's 5th district, is in a primary battle with another liberal Dem, Susan Bysowicz. He is now in the lead in that race and expected to win. While I wanted a woman in the race, Susan just isn't the one. She has made some egregious errors in judgment and I can't support her. Chris has a good record and is strongly pro-choice on abortion and other women's issues.
Chris would face Linda McMahon in the November election. She is heavily leading over former congressman Chris Shays in the Repub primary.
Primary voting day is Tuesday, August. 14. Hubby is working at the polls all day.
Did I mention that I just LOVE living in a blue state?
