"I could care less what they think" .... Harry Reid

Why Harry Reid keeps attacking Mitt Romney

Jon Stewart called Harry Reid “a really, really terrible person” for his unsubstantiated allegation that Mitt Romney hadn’t paid taxes for 10 years. Mitch McConnell said it was “beneath the dignity” of the majority leader’s office to make such a charge.

And conservative commentators are calling on Reid to put his money where his mouth is and release his own tax returns.

But there’s one person who couldn’t care less: Harry Reid.

The ruthless Senate majority leader sees political gold in his attack on Romney — and he’s got the blessing from President Barack Obama’s campaign for the attack, even if he lacks evidence on Romney’s failure to pay taxes.

I'd say Harry is still taking the higher road...so the GOP can SUCK IT!

this IS political gold - and I hope they tighten those thumbscrews a little more every day all those other fatcats who are hiding their money and playing the same tax games as Rmoney can SQUIRM...

though on edit, i hate that i've seen two other articles today citing Jonb Stewarts bit from last night and the 'terrible person' meme...doesn't anyone get that it is satire?

We have a RIGHT to se the tax returns of everyone who wants to be President!

BEFORE the Republican Convention

If Romney is not lying about paying "lots of taxes" for the last ten years....

then it probably means he's only paying 4 or 5 % on his millions

which IS "alot".... BUT...this is while the rest of us pay double-digits in percentage

and while Romney demands even MORE tax cuts for the rich! WHAT GALL!

Demand the Romney returns!

Romney never said he paid income taxes. He just said he paid lots of taxes. That could mean anything. He still may not of paid any income taxes and we won't know until he releases his taxes, unless Reid has gotten his hands on Romney's info.
Hard to believe the Obama Campaign would back Reid unless they have written proof.

I have been frustrated in the past by the way Reid lets the GOP filibuster every decent bill in the Senate, but Reid has been showing the heart of a champion on this issue. My respect for Reid is at an all time high and climbing . Keep up the good work senator. And while you are at it do something about GOP abuse of the filibuster

This article would have us believe Stewart was defending Romney against Reid's "unsubstantiated allegation". It's purposefully misleading.

This is a stupid article.

Reid is kicking Romney's ass, and doesn't need to prove jack shit.
