Mitt panders to Israel & raises $$ there, but back in the US the Jewish people have a different msg

Straight from the GOPers Mothership:

The Gallup polling organization reported Friday that Obama's standing stood at 68 percent among Jews, while 25 percent favored Romney.

The thing is that the majority of Jewish people are caring, family orientated, giving people.
Yes, there are extremists in the Jewish faith - just like in any religion - those people will vote Republican.
But don't let any news story fool you - the majority of Jewish people will be voting to re-elect President Obama.

My family, my extended family, ancestors have always been Democrats. I honestly do not know one Jewish person that is a Republican.

Let Mitt pander away - he is not swaying many Jewish voters here in the United States.

He wore dress pants, a white shirt, white socks and black shoes and looked like a cartoon character, and loved Ronald Reagan. We had a group that played D&D a lot and the one (and only) time he was invited to be the Dungeon Master, the first room we entered (level one) had a Beholder in it (big eye with a bunch of Medusa-like eyeball thingies) that is a deep level creature. The only option he offered was to do exactly what he said. Not a fair or fun game. I doubt he's changed.

Other than him, I can't think of anyone else.

Is mostly a bunch of antisemitic fuckwits. They come in a variety of flavors.

1) Apocalyptic christians: These are the folks who believe that Israel must exist, and all the Jews must live there... So Jesus can come back to Israel and kill all the Jews, except for 144,000 who convert to Christianity and... still get killed, but go to heaven (Revelation is a weird book). These are the folks who want to fund settlements, who want to raze the al-aqsa mosque, all for JEEEEEEZUS. They often believe themselves to be "more Jewish" than y'know, actual Jews. weird.

2) People who hate Arabs: These are probably the most common of the bunch, singe hatred of Arabs and Islam is a pretty common thing in US culture. They just like the idea of Arabs and Muslims getting killed, getting dicked around, and "shown up." Think of them as the Tom Tancredo wing of Antisemitism. "But wait," you might ask, "if they hate Arabs, how are they antisemitic?" ignoring the etymological hangups of the word 'antisemitism,' the key is that these people want perpetual war and conflict. That is, they want lots of Israeli Jews to keep on dying, so the war keeps on going, so more Arabs can keep on dying, too. This attitude's prevalence is probably a huge factor in why the US refuses to do anything useful in the region.

3) People who hate Jews but love excuses: These are the fun ones. See, there's this interesting trend that whenever a Jew - any Jewish person, from anywhere - speaks out against something Israel is doing, to fire a barrage of blatant, overt antisemitism at that person. So the PWHJbLE (not every acronym works, okay?) love to latch onto this so they can point at jews and scream all the fun epithets that htey wanted to say anyway... and then they scurry behind the "pro-Israel" shield when you call 'em on how calling a Jewish person a "judenrat" is pretty fucking antisemitic. They're sort of a variety of the racist who clings to every word Bill Cosby ever said on the subject of race, but dismiss Al Sharpton out of hand...

4) The Bigot Bimbo: Let's be honest, it's pretty much impossible to grow up in this culture without some latent racism getting stuck in our heads. it's one of the dominant factors in our society. The Bigot Bimbo is troubled by this, but rather than actually trying to reverse society's racism, they just try to cover up their own. These are the people who wax loquaciously about how much they "cherish" black people or "admire" Native spirituality and the like. Generally their heart is in the right place (or at least stuck in neutral, like their brain) but just end up looking like really dweeby racists. In this particular instance they are "pro-Israel" because htey figure everyone will think they're antisemites if they take a different position. They don't actually have ANY clue what's going on over there, but it's ll about image. They have a strong tendency to make the equation, "Israel = Jews = Israel."

Now there are honest-and-for-real supporters of Israel. it's just that pretty much all of them live in Israel and not the United States... the same goes for pretty much any country really. if you find a really pro-Chinese Bangladeshi dude, odds are either he's got some weird ulterior thing going on... or he's a Chinese expat or something.

Even there, there is a majority of people that want peace.

Unfortunately they are never discussed in the msm.

I did once see a program on Link Tv where they focused on normal, peace loving people in Israel and Palestine.
They even dared to show Israelis and Palestinians hanging out together without even thinking twice about it.

He is a retired fireman. His wife and children are very left wing. His parents are Repubs too - must be brainwashed.
