I don't think he gives a shit what anyone thinks- he and his wife do not believe they are required to be the least bit accountable- they are clearly (in their minds), "above all that". Staying secretive and sleezy is what he does best and he's not going to give that up without a fight.

Regardless of whether rMoney feels ashamed, to suggest that he's hiding things out of shame is a succinct, fn not entirely accurate, encapsulation of the issue, in that it at least makes the point that he did something wrong. Also, this sort of messaging is likely to resonate with a lot of shame-based people ( a common trait among Teabaggers, particularly those of the fundamentalist/evangelical stripe.
