Qualcomm Billionaire Gives Big To Democrats

Last edited Sat Jul 21, 2012, 03:01 PM - Edit history (1)

although he’s better known for his philanthropy, Qualcomm founder Irwin Mark Jacobs has long blessed Democratic causes with four- and five-figure contributions.

In recent months, he has upped the ante.

Jacobs, whose an estimated net worth is $1.4 billion, last month donated $2 million to Priorities USA Action, a super PAC working for the re-election of Barack Obama.

The reason the GOP is raising money so fast? Because their candidate sucks and they know it. Obama doesn't need nearly as much money as Romney as long as he can compete.

We do need help for the down ballot races though.
