The current view of the 2012 presidential election, based on HuffPost Pollster charts and analysis. (Original Post) applegrove Jul 2012 OP
In that pic, Obama only needs Michigan to hit 272. JoePhilly Jul 2012 #1
VA is the only one there that does not have enough EV to put him over the top Motown_Johnny Jul 2012 #2
Strange, they list NH as +3 Obama but MI is also +3 and listed as tossup Motown_Johnny Jul 2012 #3

So if he wins any one of the other 3 (MI,OH,FL,NC) he wins. He has far more paths to 270+ than Rmoney.

If he only wins VA then it is a tie and goes to the House where the (R)s would give it to Mittens.

If you look under the pollster outlook for Michigan they have it at 47%-44% for Obama and then look under New Hampshire and it is 48%-45% for Obama.

Why is one a tossup and one a lean Obama when the numbers are almost identical?

Edit to add, Iowa and Colorado both have 3 point spreads and are not listed as tossups.
